Rubbish performance. Odd team selection, particularly the midfield and terrible use (or rather non-use) of subs. One to forget.

Bewildering team selection - Johan in midfield in the role that Scott usually plays and Scott (usually our most attacking midfielder) wasted in the holding role. It didn't work. Team selection suggests the manager thought we just had to turn up to win, and that's the way we played until we were a goal behind. And, sorry, Jerson's continued selection just can't be justified.
Thoroughly p*ssed off!

Difficult to see anything positive out of today’s performance.. Both sides needed the points and despite the goal being scrappy you couldn’t argue that Wingate didn’t deserve their win as at least they showed some signs of being organised. Without Everitt our midfield is a disorganised mess and today demonstrated this. We had players out of position and the continuing problem of supposedly playing to a target man who is not winning the continuous high ball, is not holding the ball up or creating chances let alone scoring goals. As a result ter Horst was playing far too deep leaving our sole threat as Jackson who frankly was outnumbered.. We had a couple of useful digs from Sterling but that really summed up our threat to Wingate’s goal. You can’t make the excuse that it was just one of those games as apart from the odd exception we have played poorly for some time now and do not seem to learn that we are physically ill equipped to the long ball game.

JTH gets played in his favoured role, hat trick v Tonbridge, suddenly a number 8 to accommodate Jerson!

Bewildering! Poor team selection, set up and play today. A pub team manager should see that Sterling takes JDS place immediately. Alfie or kieron wide left. We need more scoring options than just Ira as he is getting marked out of games.

Absolute garbage . Did anyone see our tacticless manager unfold his arms and go to the touch line to offer any advice or encouragement or even a bollocking to the players ?

Bad day at the office.
As soon as Wingate scored they parked the bus and we couldn’t break them down.
Onto Next Week one to forget!

Say what ever you like. But to me you can sum it up in two words: Pathetic management. Feel very disappointed with that showing today.

Yes I did. I heard him shout (moan) very loudly at both Sterling and Alfie in the second half when they made errors. Didn't hear anything creative or constructive from him to anyone. It looked as though MeV and Edgy were managing the team in the first half with Cugs leaning against the advertising boards. Did I miss what 's wrong with Dolan. Apparently Hasler was at the game watching - with Ashford playing in Guernsey.

Get him back from loan now because they midfield set up was a nonsense today! All of last weeks hard work undone. Sadly.

Did wonder if we learned anything after last weeks side cobbled together against Worthing which we won ,well it taught me a lesson 😖.
Apparently there is more chance of winning a game if we score,so why play a forward who scored a hat trick two games ago in midfield, and play a forward who is clearly out of touch and hey presto no goals today. The nearest we came was from under 18 Sterling taking aim on the left just outside the area against the crossbar,or maybe the post. Nice windy day so instead of making use of a decent pitch it was back to hoof-ball,and don’t recall Tim rolling the ball out.Draycs replacing Jerson didn’t work,I’d rather see O’Mara on with his height and determination in midfield and push Johan back up front which imo he’s more of a threat.Three points went begging...

After the games against Tonbridge and Worthing, totally ballsed up today. Unbelievably poor team selection and tactics.

Not sure I agree that we played too much long ball (hoof) ball as you call it. I do agree our midfield was all a little bit miss match in there. Kieron McCann playing holding midfield is odd. Thought we made enough chances to win the game, not just half chances. Chances that should be put away. Just wasn’t going in today. Agree about Jerson. Alfie Paxman is still the right choice at left back however much some of you want him left up front. Felt the young lad Tyler did well, but did tire towards the 70 mark.

FFS...You lot are absolutely unbelievable. You beat us last week in a massive game and because you surprisingly lose today you want the Manager's head. You need to understand that Folkestone do not have a divine right to win. Have you ever, all season been out of the top four, give the Manager some credit. I understand that like ourselves you have a limited playing budget unlike Hornchurch who are really throwing cash at this and yet at the moment we are both still competing for promotion. Be grateful, I know I am.

Both Ronnie and Sam are injured so that ends that conversation.
It’s an open fans forum so everyone is entitled to say what they want as it’s there opinion whether it be right or not.
