FFS...You lot are absolutely unbelievable. You beat us last week in a massive game and because you surprisingly lose today you want the Manager's head. You need to understand that Folkestone do not have a divine right to win. Have you ever, all season been out of the top four, give the Manager some credit. I understand that like ourselves you have a limited playing budget unlike Hornchurch who are really throwing cash at this and yet at the moment we are both still competing for promotion. Be grateful, I know I am. Shhh

I agree with you redrag but the difference is you want to go up.Whereas we the supporters and chairman want to go up but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we don't.2nd in the league and lose in the final happy days 😡.

Didn’t see many comments on here in the week when ira did a couple of interviews full of praise for the manager.
I’ll say it again: be careful what you wish for.

Absolute garbage . Did anyone see our tacticless manager unfold his arms and go to the touch line to offer any advice or encouragement or even a bollocking to the players Yes I did. I heard him shout (moan) very loudly at both Sterling and Alfie in the second half when they made errors. Didn't hear anything creative or constructive from him to anyone. It looked as though MeV and Edgy were managing the team in the first half with Cugs leaning against the advertising boards. Did I miss what 's wrong with Dolan. Apparently Hasler was at the game watching - with Ashford playing in Guernsey. If that is true about Hasler then it makes the line-up look even more ridiculous. Get him back from loan now because they midfield set up was a nonsense today! All of last weeks hard work undone. Sadly. hasler and Ronnie are both injured. Probably sensible Hasler came to watch us instead of flying to guernsey to watch ashford.

What do you say to a fans coup, overthrow the existing regime and install our own management 😂 id love to see it. Give it 3 weeks before people are crawling back to Cugley.

And I don’t recall many on here moaning about where Johan was playing when he played the same role last Saturday. Have a word with yourselves lads. If you hate it so much don’t bother turning up on a Saturday.
And FWIW Johan’s started 12 of the last 15 games.

I don't necessarily want Neil out, my previous post was tongue in cheek. Hence the smiling emoji. But despite the 'he cannot do any wrong' brigade on here, his selection decisions are more than strange at times and the team can often win despite him, as much as because of him. And as for whinging when we lose, no one likes losing, but it's harder to swallow when the nature of the loss is often avoidable. It's not that you lose, its how or why that matter most.

Like I said, not a word of praise about him last week or after Ira’s interviews praising him yet this week he’s tactically clueless, picking the wrong team, etc, etc. Funnily enough a man managing in the Isthmian league isn’t Jurgen Klopp. If somebody wants to suggest a manager they think will be so much better I’m all ears.

At least our forum is well used hes probably baffled at how negative things are for a club where everything is actually going pretty well. Win last week and it was a reason the beat the manager, “he should be picking a team more like that every week”, etc. So he keeps the front 6 the same and we get beat and he’s in the wrong, his selection is awful and he’s tactically clueless.

Admittedly I was not at the game but I absolutely agree with Biffo. As soon as I saw that Mev was on the bench it instantly set off alarm bells. This is the proverbial “business end” of the season and he is irreplaceable in this squad and must start (unless injured, of course).

What a big disappointment today for another big crowd at Cheriton Rd, particularly in view of that sterling performance at Worthing last week.
As usual with us, we tend to approach games against teams at the lower end of the table as if we have a god-given right to win, and again today there was no sense of urgency right from the off. Tim and Callum kept hitting long balls to a center forward who is incapable of winning one, ( be nice if he even tried at least! ) and who does not appear to understand the offside laws or simply cannot stay within its rules. On our day we are a good side but we are effectively playing without a center forward.
I would have put Finn O Mara up there today, to win headers and challenge for the ball rather than have him sitting on the bench, especially after how well he played last week. Mev also was missed, but surprisingly, at center half where he not only played well against Worthing but, more importantly, got others around him to play well. That sloppy goal of theirs would not have happened with him back there.!
The positives were again, Ira`s form and that precocious talent that is young Tyler Sterling. One of his fifty-yard passes, beautifully weighted inside the full-back for Ira, was one of the few positive memories I have of the game. What a talent. ( Even their coach raved about him to me in the bar after the game !)
So, where do we go from here? We somehow need to find a center forward. Or if not, if we are still going to overuse that long ball at least put someone there who might win it. Possibly Finn?

Wasn't a great performance today but they didn't threaten much either. 1st half brave goalkeeping who took one in the face kept them in it and I think they had one good chance that Tim saved. A couple of long range efforts from young Tyler and an offside goal...so it wasn't as dull as I thought? 2nd half Scrappy goal decided it but we did have a go with a few shots, but the post and one cleared off the line by of all people Folkestones favourite Rifat who is still a t**t. Lots of you on here giving large again about the management and you are entitled to your opinions but for those who take these comments to heart this is just a forum used by the few, their aren't 544 opinions on here so don't get too rattled. Still 2nd might still win the league, might make the play offs, might miss out on the play offs. Whatever happens I'll be there cheering to the end! Good report Gerry, balanced as usual. Some others as Obertan says be careful what you wish for. See you all Tuesday.

What I can't understand is how everyone on this forum can see that Jerson is not worth his place in the starting XI yet the Manager consistently plays him. What is it that the Manager sees but isn't obvious to the majority of fans?

What is it that the Manager sees but isn't obvious to the majority of fans? maybe the manager has no alternative because the other 2 centre forwards he’s brought in either weren’t good enough or couldn’t get fit. If you know of a centre forward good enough to lead the line for Invicta while being affordable I doubt Cugley would ignore you.

Small sample but still reflective very reflective. The negativity on here is the same as in the ground and one player I was chatting to today couldn’t understand it.

I understand if you work for club, all beit voluntarily, and do a cracking job by the way, you have to take sides with the management.
But, no one wants Cugley out, no one wants anything to change at the club. It's just a massive frustration when certain things are so blindily obvious to 99% of people week in week out, but not to one person.
The Worthing game was a massive win with a pick n mix side, that wasn't sustainable though. Surely people could see that.
Everyone wants the best for the club, players playing out of position when others are available is just baffling. That is all. No agendas. No vitrol, no anger. Pure confusion. That is all

As long as it doesn’t cross the line and become abusive and aggressive then I think those that pay to watch the games are entitled to their opinions.

HT 0-0 Anyone know if there's commentary today? Just found there was a live video broadcast Not worth watching back through I assume? 1 hour 10 mins & 40 seconds into the video if you want to see the only goal. Not pretty.
