That is very low for a sunny Saturday would've expected +700. Compared to what we have been used to recently it is a small gate.

Lost on penalties. No Wembley trip this year.

Don't be fooled by the score. Dismal performance. We are a shambles. No tactical plan whatsoever except hoof it up the pitch and see what happens - and we can't defend when it comes straight back at us.
First half was like watching paint dry, with them slightly the better side and us only having one shot, which was weak and straight at the keeper.
Second half, they were largely on top, but we got a softish penalty (probably the right decision, but the ball would have gone out for a goal kick if the keeper hadn't run into Ira). Lead didn't last long. Then, well into stoppage time, out of nowhere, we score probably the goal of the season so far; but we couldn't hold on to it for 30 seconds...
Call me a miserable old bastard, but if we don't improve significantly - and we will have to sign two full backs and at least one midfielder who can defend to do that - and if we don't stop playing aimless long ball "football", I reckon we will go down.

This was one of the most dismal performances I have witnessed in recent seasons. We looked like a team that have never played with each other and that surely comes down to the coaching. How they can justify their positions after this is questionable especially after playing a hoof ball centre half in midfield! If we are going to achieve anything over the next few seasons, we must install a proper management team.

Let's see whether our new benefactors know anything about running a football club, beyond binning off the best food in the division and cutting down a few trees.

Carry on like that and 361 is going to seem a good crowd . How many of that crowd will have been encouraged to come back again. We need to be fun like a proper football club with a manager and a team of coaches otherwise this is going to be a long and unproductive season.

Oh dear oh dear. Hard to find a positive spin there boss. On field problems aside it struck me how flat the atmosphere was. A fellow terrace dweller commented how encouraging it is to see so many youngsters coming to watch as they are the future fans. Pity some of them just seemed intent on pinching match balls when they came over the fence. Parents, get them to return stolen goods!!
Agree with Rhys, no cup run, no trophy run , what next from them upstairs?

A bit of a come down after Tuesday night Dempsey on the bench when I expected him at LB . If Penn was starting I would have thought midfield. Yes we lack height in midfield but we would have pace . We seemed Lethargic which led to a poor atmosphere didn’t do enough first half . Second half slightly better. Once the subs were made we scored a quality goal. You could see from the terracing they were targeting our left back position but we didn’t make the change there . We need better communication out on the pitch and from the statistics man to tell them where to change if can’t see pitch side . Something needs to change sharply otherwise a major downhill spiral will happen.

Well, you can read above how the fans felt about today`s performance.
what I would say also is that having played poorly, we should still have stolen this game at the end. Great strike from Ira after a clever ball from Heardy to set him up. That should have been it.
.The defending for their goal was abysmal.
We left a makeshift left-back one on one with their number two, who had been going past people for fun all game, drives low across the box, and then it is a fifty-fifty situation. Cost us the game. Two minutes to hold out and we could not do it.
Depressing. I am now going to watch Ireland play Scotland at rugby. Got to be more entertaining.

For me, don’t need joint manager rubbish, they rarely work, with the addition of analyst, player coach and Cugs still about - far too many voices.
Let Michael do the job on his own and free up some money for another player by reverting to just the one manager.

Hard to disagree with any of the comments regarding to today's game. But is anybody listening? Nothing to suggest anyone is. Those in control of the club at the end of last season have agreed a deal, whatever that means, with a new regime and we have a new Board of Directors. The new Board were appointed amoungst a wave of publicity and optimism greeted by many of the faithful. Falling attendances, out of both cups, going nowhere in the league, what action does the Board propose to take? A statement of some sort is required surely, or are there bigger fish to fry?

Poor recruitment in the summer, dreadful tactics, confusing leadership, no cup run of any substance, changes to the match day experience for the worst, eco vandalism, falling attendances. The club needs to make changes now to address this before we sleep walk into a relegation battle.

The new board seems remarkably quiet once past the initial "hello". I think we need some communication. In both directions.

How can you differentiate between the two coaches? Who has greater input who has most influence, who has greater respect of players? One has been a great servant, long experience at this level as a player, coaches kids at schools and fun days. T’other has been a great servant, has played a professional level and coaches at school. Can’t comment on formal coaching qualifications. Both really nice blokes. Maybe we need a new’ non ‘old boy’ face with a ruthless streak and experience of getting clubs promoted, as Ads said.
I fear for loss of interest and revenue and downward slide amidst flash ( but treeless) surroundings.
But enough of this positivity……at least we have fewer pigeons!
