Getting tight if the final is being played on 1st April and still two more rounds after the Basildon game. exactly. We are most likely favourites to win the velocity trophy now, and if the Cray game stays as it is it will have to be Basildon on the 3rd, Brightlingsea on the 17th and a semi final on the 24th which means 8 days to prepare for the final. That’s without a Kent cup semi final that will need playing if we beat Dartford, which could mean another semi final being played a week before the final if it’s the same sort of day as it was last year.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but if it had been a simple knockout competition from the start surely all these rounds would had been done by now..

Pretty impressive that a game that hasn't happened gets to 4 pages in the forum

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but if it had been a simple knockout competition from the start surely all these rounds would had been done by now.. they would. Clearly they haven’t worked it out properly. I don’t see them lasting long, especially given the groups will end up being almost exactly the same year after year. The league treats the competition as if it’s an imposition so it’s no wonder supporters act the same.

That’s one way to make the point that you’re unhappy about a postponement.

Wouldn't it make sense if this cup and maybe the kent senior cup started pre season so we have competitive games not friendlies that nobody really cares about and the attendances maybe higher?

The winner of our trip to Basildon will host Brightlingsea in the quarter finals with the winner of that tie hosting Bracknell Town in the semis.
Horsham host Cheshunt in the other semi.
