Keeping on moaning about how we have let players go or mistreated them is toxic. Move on. And I don't actually care what the 2 or 3 Hastings fans think of Finn or Folkestone Invicta.

I'm not sure people go there much at all, but I've done as you've suggested. I haven't said anything about what the Hastings fans think about us - they're basically looking forward to renewing old acquaintances next season.
