Yes I know it's early but this is clearly a massive turning point in the season. Win and win our other games in hand (yes, big ask I know) and its neck and neck. Lose and that's playoff time. Reading reports on their latest game and it appears hit them in the counter attack is productive. rebelrebels.proboards.com/thread/4527/wfc-hornchurch-match-threadThoughts?

Son of Keith has put his bias thread on their forum. Away form is not good,it has been better but losing at Carshalton and Margate is on par with Worthing. And I think he is getting Merstham mixed up with Cray Wanderers who beat Carshalton 5-4 yesterday … not an easy place to get a win. Worthing have lost 2 games at home, Bognor and Cheshunt. We drew up at Cheshunt and almost pinched the win. So don’t think Worthing are invincible but we need to bring our A game in a MASSIVE game Lets prove Son of Keith’s prognosis and hence what all of Worthing are thinking is wrong. Yes you are favourites but our do or die attitude will be roaring like lions on Tuesday and we will be like gladiators ready to fight every inch to get a result to pull you in. Quote “Invicta are a different proposition to Hornchurch, they are vulnerable away, they can and do crumble. ” unquote. I can’t wait for this battle. rebelrebels.proboards.com/thread/4528/wfc-folkestone-match-thread

If we are in the right frame of mind and balanced. then as we have shown we can give teams a couple of leagues higher something to think about.

I wonder who this could be ?? "I’m hoping to have a further addition signed in time to be part of the squad, but we just need to get that over the line.”

Ricky Miller signed for Grantham back in December but I see he didn’t play in the game against Scarborough on Saturday. Grantham are bottom of the Northern Premier League and perhaps Ricky fancies a quick return to the south east ..who knows.

Interesting to see our lineup last time we played Worthing (taken from www.folkestoneinvictafc.co.uk/news/3681 ) nearly 2 years ago (15th February 2020):- Folkestone Invicta: Tim Roberts, Finn O’Mara, Jordan Wright, Matt Newman (Captain), Micheal Everitt, Tyler Sterling (Nat Blanks, 79 mins), Scott Heard, Johan Ter Horst, Ira Jackson, Jerson Dos Santos (Ian Draycott, 65 mins) & Kieron McCann, (Unused Subs; Ronnie Dolan, Kieran Jones & Henry Newcombe). Quite a few changes since then.

Ricky Miller.....even Dover got rid and look at the state they're in.
as for Cousin Dave....he'd have to make sure he was in the box before falling over..".penalty!"
I could speculate but wouldn't want to jeopardize or incur wrath....

Take you back to a sunny August last year -- how the hell we didn't win this more convincingly - I don't know.
Keiron on the bench -- look how much room Alfie had on the left. Food for thought maybe for tomorrow.

Another experienced player coming in to strengthen the squad, positive move with the amount of games coming up .Interesting to see how the dynamics of the squad will change .A possible 4-4-2 if he plays ? Plenty to discuss on the coach later 👍

Nope as I was anticipating a long term not a loan.
Sounds good though, as does AD.

Really looking forward to the game this evening, one of the defining games of the season potentially. Should be a good crowd and a decent atmosphere. Local one for me as well as I only work a mile from the ground. Parking isn't easy around the local residential streets & queue's into the ground are usually quite big - get there early for those who are going!
