Kane is back at Sittingbourne. Went to watch them play Harlow tonight. Kane started, but did not last long as he went off with what, from a distance and to my untrained eye, looked like a tight hamstring. Also playing for Sittingbourne (and I know I'm going to spell this wrong) was Silvan Kisitulu, who had a steady game. Sittingbourne won 3-0 and looked pretty good, stronger than they have been for a long time; Harlow weren't very good at all and the margin could have been bigger.
The big news at Sittingbourne is the return of Andy Drury to his home town club where he started his impressive career. It made me realise how long I have been ferrying my son up the M20/A249; Andy Drury is 36 now; we saw his debut as a 16 year old.

Went to Sittingbourne v Ashford tonight - a few of our old boys playing.
Salvyn Kisitu - got sent off only 10 minutes in for a tackle that the ref judged to be dangerous.
Kane Rowland - scored 2 goals, both headers from corners, and played well throughout.
Johan - quiet game as Ashford, despite having a man advantage for most of the game, didn't create much and needed a rather silly penalty near the end to salvage a draw, 2-2
On this showing, Ashford are unlikely to repeat the two good seasons they have just had; lost too many good players.
