In my opinion, the most credible part of the letter is the call for consistency. I believe that whatever decision the FA made it should have been applied to all clubs affiliated to the FA not just the lower leagues. Call me cynical, but I should think the issue of possible repayment of money to the TV companies who have paid millions and millions for the coverage rights might just have something to do with the different approach from the National League up.

You're probably right Stumpy, it is a case of money talks. Stamp down on the minnows but tread more warily with someone who has a vested interest.

Seems this way.
Our level & below - cancelled National League - in limbo Football League & Premier - we're going to finish it
Absolutely no consistency applied.

The RFU have cancelled all league, cup & county rugby so FA (choose what u think this really stands for in current situ, but I go for Fook All) should do the same. Alternatively if all the overpaid prima donnas in the Prem & Championship who earn in a week what NHS staff earn in a year(s) gave up one week salary, that may be enuf to stop a lot of Non-league teams going bust if they donated it. Even one months wages would make no difference to their lifestyle. Things need to change imo. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52092442 national league now possibly gone

I take Anthony`s view. Restart our league from fresh ( if possible! ) and just let`s hope that we personally, and the club survive this awful pandemic!

There’s to be a round of applause for all DPD staff and couriers tomorrow. It’ll be between 1 and 6 pm.

I’m sure some clubs will still be crying about it. Plenty of it about from fans of clubs who could have gone up on social media but I’d imagine the majority really aren’t bothered.

It was just a 'rubber-stamp' job really! Not much radical thought emanates from that organisation!

Watched the video of the interview. 45 minutes worth so plenty of it. Hopefully a few of those spouting off about how the league or FA or whoever else are corrupt might watch it and wind their necks in.
Interesting to know they’re a person short on the board because it’s hard to get people to take on the role. Happy to criticise but not stick their heads above the parapet then.
Also interesting to know the “nul and void” option was them applying rules on clubs not finishing a season rather than just cancelling because there were no rules for the situation. Could set a very strong legal precedent should other leagues higher up try and promote, delegate or crown clubs as champions.
