Blimey a bit of a clue might have settled the nerves - I thought we'd gone bust again.......

Its like the silver spring flu Bish.
yes yes I am taking it seriously. Anyone who coughs, sneezes or farts on the Kingstonian mini bus gets chucked off at the next services. (and anyone who says F**k like its spelt with two o's)

I think we’ll very likely be looking at fixture postponements or a cap of 500 spectators at games before our next home league fixture.

Safety first...if we ban everyone over 60 that should still leave us with a crowd of 20 or so, thus well within the 500 limit.

What happens now - English Football league suspends all professional football until 3 April. Will the non-league follow suit??

Yes. National league is on, alert from those who have players or staff affected, or have links to arsenal.

As we adjust to a new way of life and some have time on their hands to catch up with those jobs we’ve put off,I’m wondering if the league table on our main website could be brought up to date....understand it’s nice to see us in second but....

I saw this morning that the EFL are insisting on finishing their season however late. Isthmian follow suit possibly?

Be a shame if the season finished now. We have such good players this season. It would be interesting to see how high we finish.

At this stage there’s probably very little point in speculating.
As for the EFL/PL, they can put out as much guff as they want and what they WANT to do, it means nothing until we’ve got an idea on when things can start returning towards normal.

If I was a betting man, I would put my money of the PL/EFL sooner rather than later deciding to finish the season playing matches behind closed doors, if only to avoid lawsuits from clubs currently in with a chance of promotion or fighting relegation and also possibly from TV channels that have paid for television rights. If they do that, I suspect non-league will follow suit.

Good luck with convincing the players to play. Rooney wrote something last week furious about it. And it could still end up with matches binned on the day if players wake up feeling ill.

With the number of Coronavirus cases and deaths still increasing I can’t see any hope of seeing any football any time soon.As to playing behind closed doors, some players may prefer not to,surely it’s gotta be a case of everyone yes or no.Waynes rant was more to do with the faffing around by government and football chiefs to decide whether/when to call a halt on current proceedings. His idea of finishing this season in September, assuming the coast is clear, and starting the 20/21 season towards the winter may well be the case. Currently so many unknowns .....
