Can't say he wasn't given a chance odd comment. He’d never claim that and I don’t know anybody who would. Signed for us in the summer having not done so a year earlier for the same reasons he’s now moved on: travel. Blanksie was his transport and now he’s at Cray it became an issue. If he was still banging them in every week maybe they’ve have worked out a way for him to stay. Lad certainly has talent but his confidence has been destroyed since missing the penalty at maldon. Hopefully he can get himself back into form now (he’s already got himself a goal), a lovely bloke, just a shame it didn’t work out in the end.

A goodbye video featuring his 10 goals and the penalty v Basildon, given our lack of content this weekend.
Next week it’ll be Chinny’s 2 goals. And if it goes on much longer I’ll be forced to do a video of Steve Smith coming on as a sub v Corinthian Casuals.

Some excellent goals there, great pity he went off the boil . I think that if he had maintained that standard we would probably still be at the table . Good luck to him and sorry to see him go.

It seemed to happen after that disastrous `panenka` attempt. I do think that he was carrying a bit of a groin for weeks too. It does not excuse the constantly getting offside despite the coaching staff`s work with him. I think they got sick of telling him in the end.
I know I was.

Thanks Anthony, there were some great goals, who can forget that strike from distance with the outside of his right foot.Looks like these snippets are all we’re gonna get action wise from Invicta for who knows when...

Can't say he wasn't given a chance odd comment. He’d never claim that and I don’t know anybody who would. I think there was some irony in jt's post. My own view is that when Jerson's goals dried up and his form dipped, Cugs was right at first to give him the chance to play himself back in, but wrong to persist with him for so long when he showed no signs of improvement. I know there's an argument that says we had nobody else who could play that target role, but he wasn't really doing it and we should have changed after three or four games, not three or four months. We lost too many points and, worse, a lot of momentum. I hope it works for him at Walton Casuals because he does seem a good bloke and, until things went wrong, he was a big asset and a big part of our great start to the season.
