For those intending to go, don't forget it's on Sunday, and it's at Bromley's ground. Expect most know this, but there might be someone who doesn't. Although it's in the main site match centre, I couldn't find much on the main website highlighting it elsewhere.

Don't recognise any of the Folkestone players or the kit. At least when I go to Cheriton Road I recognise the kit.

Good result and upsets the form book a bit. Sounds a pretty uneventful second half, but that's what you want when you're 1-0 up at half time.

Good to get 3 points today. It'd take a run of very strange results for us to go down now.

This is how this weekend's results effect the predicted table based on 10 game form - most teams have 7 or 8 games left to play:
We finish where we are now, 16th.
The bottom 4, Margate, Haringey, Kingstonian and Concord are doomed.
At the top, Hornchurch win (by a mile); Chatham and Horsham almost certainly make the play-offs; then it's very close between (in order of most likely to least likely) Enfield, Wingate & F, Dulwich and Potters Bar (!!!); Carshalton, Hastings and Bognor are looking like outsiders now. Billericay will blow it (current form will see them finish below half-way).
Finnbar, these predictions are getting ever closer to the FWP predicted table, as they are bound to do. They have the same top 5, in the same order, same bottom 4 (same bottom 7 in fact) but not quite in the same order. They have us finishing 16th as well.

So Stumpy's stats are on a par or even better than FWP??? So well dun him and perhaps a career change now beckons? Shove the moderating then!

Thinking ahead the fact that rele seems to be gone then results may be more positive and more wins than losses may be the result. If so does this help to structure the team and personnel for next season??

This was an important away win to give us the three points needed to effectively seal our safety in this league.
It was no classic. Lots of effort from both sides but without too much quality on show. We packed the midfield, as you can tell from the lineup. But did not start with a recognised wide player.
Derry had another fine game at centre forward. I think he could do with some decent crosses from the wings. But he worked hard and won quite a lot of the balls played up to him.
Dave Smith got our goal from close in from a cross from Tom Kavanagh. He was also denied a blatant penalty. He should have gone down though, to to help the ref make his mind up.
Sanogo was influential in the centre of midfield and Alsopp was his usual busy and skilful self.
But as a game, it will not live in the memory, apart from the very important points !!
COYS!!

Good to get 3 points today. It'd take a run of very strange results for us to go down now. Unless there are Financial irregularities that are not known, such as paying for Jambo to sleep at Bromley, Stumpy et al for counselling after seeing so many recent dire games (their own words in posts here), Finbarr getting remuneration for being Top poster in the Universe

We are unbeaten on plastic this year. I'm sure we'd have done better at home if the pitch wasn't such a mess - and even if the results hadn't been very different, the football would have been.

Andy Drury explains why he went with the diamond midfield (four) yesterday on the official website.
Not pretty but it got us the important points.
Better question from Anthony this week I felt.

Was there today and thought we worked really hard and had we taken our chances and been given one of the two nailed on penalties it would have been more comfortable . Ref set the bar for fouls higher than I have ever seen… anything short of homicide was just waved on 😃
