A couple of games involving teams near/at the bottom of our league tonight, both shocks maybe?
Concord 2 Billericay 1
Enfield 0 Kingstonian 0
Billericay are on a bad run at the moment - in danger of blowing the play-offs at this rate. Concord winning isn't good for us, but it won't matter much if we beat them on Saturday.

An update on my post in the MIND THE GAP 3 thread is that all ILP matches have to be done by 27th April so that is 2 months and a week so with all the outstanding fixtures that means a variable loading for teams. So FIFC 12 matches, Concord 17, Cheshunt and Kingstonian 14. Also the teams above FIFC have more than 12 to play so current position may be the best, but as Stumpy says another 8 points should be OK. Good job Stumps on all your analysis with all your free time. Have u been watching Sitters FC or Dover Pathetic to fill the gap???

I only go to Dover when we are playing them - so next season Still go to Sittingbourne fairly often. It's not exactly by choice - my son, who has been supporting them for over 20 years now, can't get there by himself, except by public transport, which isn't very feasible given the lack of direct trains/buses and their ground being some way out in the sticks. But we've been going for so long that I know almost as many people there as I do at Invicta and they've inevitably become my second team. They are actually having their best season for more than 20 years and should make the play-offs, although they have a slight injury crisis to contend with. So, who knows, we may be playing them in the league next season, although it's hard to see past Cray valley and Ramsgate as the promoted teams - but one of them (probably Ramsgate) will have to do it via the play-offs and they often turn up surprise results.
