Father Christmas has delivered early for him!
Who will you be cheering for Stumpy?

I'll stand on the half-way line.
Only joking - but my son, if he can be bothered to go, will be at the other end of the ground from me.

Only the Dugout / Stripes turnstiles open for this game.

My divided loyalties are not going to be put to the test as I'm slightly under the weather and giving it a miss.

A chap called Aiye in the lineup tonight. Have I missed a signing?

M20 closures has delayed KO apparently

That's not surprising - Channel Tunnel is shut (because of a strike apparently) and the M20 is a lorry park at the moment.
It has kicked off now though - just after 8 I think.

Been informed we're winning 1-0 at HT from an early OG.

FT 3-0 Hopefully we've learned a lot more about some players.
Anyone know if we hadn't heard Mick Cork song on 77 minutes?

Lots of new faces.
Hard to judge as we were never really extended by a gritty Sittingbourne.
Smith is a natural finisher and if fit would always be in my side. Him and Berry together?
Moses solid as usual, Kane played well....but the side has not really emerged yet from it's rebuilding process. Fingers crossed for Boxing Day!

Lydd Town was training next door last night, some came into the Dugout Bar for a drink after our game, where I had a chance to chat with one of my favorite ex-Invicta players Ronnie Dolan.
We remembered some of the memorable games he was involved in. The two games FA against Eastleigh came to mind and his only hat-trick for Invicta away at Potters Bar. He felt that many of the players stayed long-term with Invicta through loyalty to Cugs and the team had a great team spirit, built over time.
We are now in a new era. Hopefully a successful one but it will take time to build that sense of camaraderie essential for a winning team.
