We were their equals a few years ago. Quite a divergence.

Their well thought out aims and ambitions look to be bearing fruit already. Made the play offs and in with a chance of promotion to National League.

Would be interesting to see where teams are now that have gone up in previous seasons. I've not got playoff winners info, but champions:
22/23: Bishops Stortford: NLN bottom / relegated (welcome back) 21/22: Worthing: NLS 3rd!! 20/21: null & void (Covid) - Worthing were top 19/20: null & void (Covid) - Worthing were top 18/19: Dorking: NL 2nd bottom / relegated (to NLS?) 17/18: Billericay: IPL 6th 16/17: Havant & Waterlooville: NLS 2nd bottom / relegated ......... this was our 1st season back in IPL. 15/16: Hampton & Richmond: NLS 7th / playoffs 14/15: Maidstone: NLS 5th / playoffs 13/14: Wealdstone: NL 17th 12/13: Whitehawk: IPL (7 points above us)
Not sure what it's telling me: Some clubs have consilidated & moved on (Worthing ; Maidstone; Wealdstone; Hampton & Richmond) Some clubs have risen a lot & fallen a bit (Dorking; Havant) Some clubs have returned to the IPL (Whitehawk; Billericay; Bishops Stortford)
Looks like if you go up, anything can happen. Maybe we only keep our eye on the successful ones? Would be interesting to see the playoff winners current status'.

Would be interesting to see where teams are now that have gone up in previous seasons. I've not got playoff winners info, but champions: AFC Wimbledon were in our league early to mid 2000's. Then they earned six promotions to Football League 1 in 2016. Now down to Football League 2.

Worthing now home to Maidstone in second semi final on Sunday. 3.000 attendance expected for this one. Should be noisy! (Winners to play Chelmsford or Braintree)

Burton Albion (who we beat 2-0 away in the league when we were at step 2) made it to the championship for one season. Crawley Town and Newport County have both consolidated in the EFL. Crawley were even as low as step 3 when we first played them in the league.
