Pitch looking good, some fencing and signs succumbed to Storm Ciara but no problems for tonight’s match and the current strong winds due to ease off later this afternoon.

I will say ift before Gerry does Jordan had a good game tonight filling in for JV.
Johan was exceptional second half the whole team was. A professional performance considering we are missing quite a few players onto the next round.

Well there you go, play you're best players in their best positions and give them the right service, look what you get. Totally demolished their defence second half. Not taking anything from us, but Tonbridge looked very poor, did they play any 'first teamers'

Totally forgettable first half - I've forgotten it already - but second half was really good. We seemed to get better and better as it went on. Nice hat-trick from Johan; first goal a bit of a solo effort, great shot just inside the post; second goal, first time finish after great play and a perfect centre from Ira; third goal, some youth team player, name escapes me brilliantly controlled a cross field pass with the outside of his foot, turned the full back inside out and put in a shot which was just kept out, but Jo controlled it on his chest and hammered home through a crowded six yard box. Could be we'll have to field much the same team on Saturday (although rumour has it Alfie might not be suspended after all), and this will have helped with confidence for what is bound to be a difficult game, although the weather might make it a lottery apparently.

Great to see a Johan hat trick. He’s scored against every Kent side we’ve played this season.
Not convinced they were really up for it but can only beat what’s in front of you and given the side we had to put out we can hold our heads high. Great performance.
Jordan Wright at left back played really well, especially given the level hes been playing at.

What looked like a scratch side at the start, this was a deserved win.First half rather scrappy with the highlight being Henry’s tip over on the stroke of halftime.Second half much better with Johan leading the way with his hat trick, playing in his best position in the middle .Who’d have believed a week ago that we would be seeing Draycs and Jordan Wright,Wright,Wright both playing again for Invicta and neither looked out of place.Be interesting to see who plays Saturday, weather permitting

What an enjoyable second half. Good goals... good attacking play, with players in positions which suited them for the second half when we rearranged the shape. ( Including one of my favorite players at left-back Jordon Wright , who strolled through it as if he had never been away !)
As Stumpy has said, the first half was largely forgettable but the reshuffle at half time with Tyler moving out to the left-wing where he was much more effective, and Johan playing more central in a kind of deep number nine role which gave him a chance to do what he does best. Finish. He got a hat trick!
Tyler looked more comfortable wide and had an excellent game. What a prospect! I also felt Ira was awesome tonight. Completely unplayable. How he did not score with the amount of really good strikes he got in, I don't know. Despite Johan`s hat trick, my personal MOTM was Kieron McCann. He is such a tenacious tackler, winning ball in that cenrtral area and using it so well too!
It was great too to see Johan back to scoring form. One of them was really good strike from the edge of the box too. He obviously is much happier playing more centrally. Mev moved to center -half for tonight and was excellent there. Finn filled in a right back and was a good physical presence throughout.
So, for the brave souls who came out tonight, it proved very enjoyable in the end. The attendance was 193. Not bad for a freezing cold Tuesday night.

If we could I would play that whole starting 11 on Saturday.Considering 3 defenders down young and old faces back and some in different positions I think they could surprise again if they played with that sort of determination and team effort.Turn back the clock and play them last Saturday too.

Think Mev was excellent a Center Half last night and It just shows how versatile he is considering he is meant to be injured as well.
This Tonbridge side was quite a strong one and they had their chances but Henry was once again excellent and Scott Heard once again ran our midfield.
Bit more confidence going into Saturday with a bit of luck you never know.

Highlights show just how well Ira did at times I felt he could of passed the ball but our forward line was much more fluid then Saturday helps that we have such a fast strong attacker like Tyler and hopefully a back on Form Johan.

Thanks also for the vid Anthony, there is quite a loud 'F*cking Hell' from someone (Cugs?) when they score - ha ha, their scorer Joshua Ajayi is a Crystal Palace U23 player - so not too shabby!
Anyway I am Still buzzin from last night and now thawed out!
I think Heardy was even faster than he normally is, he left them all for dead by a mile!
We know that Johan is best in front of goal, his reaction times are lightning quick and is first to get a shot in.

Noticed from the video (I like the new graphics by the way) that we were standing round for their first goal, waiting for a whistle as a Tonbridge player injured. Something to learn from that?
