Did anybody bother to report the most inept, home biased ( comes from nearby Ipswich ) overweight and generally incompetent referee it has been my misfortune to watch in many years of watching football, at all levels! We really should have reported his total lack of fitness ( in every sense! ) to officiate at this level.
I feel for Alfie. Totally unjustified sending off, and who could blame him for letting the ref know how he felt after the game. Tat Ref is the one who should have been reporting to the FA. No way is he up to refereeing at our level.

I wasn't at that game, but it seems like the ref was really determined to stitch us up. What a ****, and a fat **** as well apparently.

Gerry sums up that ref right on the mark.Worst I’ve seen,so one sided in what wasn’t a dirty game. Both sides put in tackles which in days gone by were part of the game, nothing malicious but the totally inept,”it’s all about me “ ref could only see one side.Looked unfit both physically and mentally, wouldn’t want him in charge at any level. The second half became disjointed with stoppages that it was no wonder frustrated players and fans became disheartened with what was going on.Real shame stumps you missed this one.....It’s not bad news just for Alfie but the side in general, especially at this stage.Well done ref !! As you say Gerry, the wrong man was in the dock.

So Alfie not available tomorrow makes Sam's loan move even more puzzling. Sam is obviously going to get game time at Ashford but if instead he was on the bench for us tomorrow surely he would be required to take some part in the game.

This is the same ref who, unbelievably, watched Chinny being wrestled to the ground, in the box ( same game! ) and waved play on. I was two yards from the incident. Never seen anything like it! When Chinny told him he ( the ref ) that he was having a bad day, he was booked.
Farcical. We should have made an official complaint about that particular official. Mind you, his Lino wasn't much better!

Oliver Morris-Saunders....no relation Duncan ? Er, um...….. I don't think the line stretches to East Anglia. I'm the first in the family to leave Folkestone I believe.

Are the FA that desperate that they continue to give “blind” support to referees? We certainly had every justification for complaint against this official who was physically unfit and I’m sorry gave little demonstration of impartiality. Presumably we mark referees’ performance and it would be interesting to learn how we rated his abilities on this occasion. The initial sending off was unjustified but the secondary punishment presumably at the behest of this inept official is frankly despicable. I imagine that the FA have merely rubber stamped this but is there nobody within that body with an ounce of common sense to realise that something very odd went on at this game which required further investigation. I am not a stats man but I suspect our disciplinary record is far from the worst in the league . The game in question was not dirty but it appeared that the referee was simply vindictive and unable to keep up with game. I suspect that nobody at the FA has thought that something about the control of this game stinks. Presumably we have no recourse to appeal and if so I do hope Alfie used language which suitably gave an accurate reflection of the referees performance.

I suppose the home side sent in a positive report where as ours wasn’t and what with the number of bookings and a conned sending off the F.A. would think ours was sour grapes.Perhaps a few of us should have sent our views directly to the F A ,aptly named.Makes one wonder why the ref didn’t get the book out when Chinny was pulled to the ground in front of him considering what several of our bookings were for......And that clear corner turned down with the ball so clearly over the line before the smiling but affable keeper pulled it back.

I assume the club has to pay a fine for every card issued plus a hefty admin fee so a steady income stream for the FA !

I’m not sure of the rules regarding suspensions but did hear that the Tonbridge game doesn’t count so Alfie may not be available for the Worthing game. Also because Tuesdays game falls between yesterdays game and next Saturday he might not even be able to turnout on Tuesday, all sounds a bit bizarre ?

Obviously they are desperate to recruit anybody willing to ref. Don't they monitor these new officials? The one yesterday was awful too. You could see he had never played, and all the nuances and subtle fouls were well beyond him.
