Even with it being our last chance to see Alfie play for a few weeks it’s insane. £2 more than games at almost every club in our league. And they’re asking their own season ticket holders to pay it.

No pub near by to sit in until half time then head in through the empty turnstiles either.

GAME OFF WATERLOGGED PITCH. Perhaps that's why it was £13? They were charging the appropriate rate for a Water Sport Park?

Be a good indicator tonight of how the squad compares, should we get promotion A bit academic now, as far as tonight goes anyway, but I'm not sure how much we'd have learned since Tonbridge might well be coming straight back down. To be honest, I thought we were a better side than them last season anyway, certainly from Christmas onwards. I guess we all know it will be tough if we do go up - Dulwich were very strong in our league, but lower half in National South. Dorking are making a real go of it though, but then they've got a lot more dosh than we have.

Have they cut the admission though.? heard that it had been discussed a couple of nights ago at a board meeting (or similar). Anybody with access to their forum might be able to find out more.

On Tonbridge forum this morning: As promised this was raised at last nights board meeting. Dave N will get Charlie to speak to Folkestone about a possible lower price, both teams have to agree as the gate is split 50/50 after expenses. Will let you know when I get any update...........

It's a tricky call sometimes. A couple of seasons ago Dover reduced admission to £5 for a KSC game against Sittingbourne. They still got a really small crowd though and, by the time Dover deducted the cost of stewarding (which wasn't really needed), bar staff (which were), etc, Sittingbourne's share of the gate was a whole £35. I can't remember what Dover charged us last time we went there in the KSC (can remember us winning 6-0 though ), but it was nothing like full whack. I think Tonbridge should lower the entrance, but we can't get self-righteous about it, because we've often charged full price for KSC games in the past.

Game called off again yesterday at 90 minutes notice. Wealdstone fans furious as they were already well on their way, if not there. Tonbridge retorting that it was the referee who called it off, not them, seemingly without any sort of consideration that they could have let on that things were likely not to go ahead.
Not one tweet between them posting about it being matchday first thing in the morning and when they called it off. No pictures of the pitch or any hint of an inspection that might have given travelling fans a hint that the game was off if they hadn’t been across the situation. Even if they had it gives the impression that things are sorted and good to go on the day.
As it is the weather appears set to rain for 4 days ahead of this KSC trip in 10 days time so looks to me as if we’re walking into another postponement. Absolute farce.

Perhaps we should forget the game and just appoint coin tossers. I can think of a couple to represent Invicta.😜

Plenty of teeth gnashing on the Angels forum over match postponements.
No news on KSC entry price reductions though.
