Free entry for women - isn't that sex discrimination? Perhaps we should all self-identify as women just for the day and save ourselves thirteen quid. Only joking - I've got a season ticket

Happy to pay, so long as you all fight for my right to have babies. Even if I can't have babies... (Where's the foetus gonna gestate, etc, and so forth)

Final score 3-2 and Cheshunt lost so we're now 9pts clear of them and 11 above the drop zone. Presumably the poor attendance attributable in part to not counting the ladies?

Phew! Glad for the points almost certain that we will be ok. Eddie Allsop magic in spells but not a great performance from the team. They seemed to have a lot of very young lads and tried to play passing game on our cabbage patch. We won't go down but we must try and push on next season.

Poor game struggled to understand our tactics. Though we got 3points and a win which is what we set out to get . Credit to the young Kingstonian side who battled hard . There manager was a disgrace the way he had ago at some of his players. Had he tactically changed it , he may of got something. On the young player note perhaps it’s time to use some of our academy lads . Eddie definitely the best player for us by a mile .

Wasn't the best game we have played,It seems no one ever gets on the end of Toms head flicks,Just when i was thinking Dave Smith was having a lazy game he goes and scores a real cracker so i forgive him, Thought Seidou Sanogo and Allsopp had a good game but my MOTM was Callum who stop them from scoring a goal could of been 3-3 Will need a few more wins to keep safe yet and poor ref today not our biggest attendance did seem a bit quiet.

Attendance low due to all the FIFC fans away watching Dover play in Somerset . Definite SE kent derby next season unless either team gets disbanded or relgated 10 divisions due to improper finances, crowd trouble, etc etc

Presumably the poor attendance attributable in part to not counting the ladies? Our crowds have been in decline for a while now - probably because of the poor football we have been playing and, to be honest, still played most of the time today. It's not that the players are bad, they are clearly not, but it's the total absence of any discernible tactical plan to get the most out of them. Tom Derry is basically good for one thing, getting his head on crosses - but how many do we actually put anywhere near him? And the defence still gives away too many goals. But we won, and I think we are almost safe - one more win should be enough.

Dreadful game to watch. Absolutely zero quality. Add to this, the match officials, the ref in particular, looked clueless.
We got the three points we needed and that's about the only positive thing to take from today.
I know the pitch is not great but we hardly made one effort all game to pass the ball from the back. Launching one long ball after another to a centre forward who was well-marked.
Surely we have to get away from that. This looked what it was. A game between two teams at the lower end of the table. Hardly an advert for the Isthmian Premier !!
The pitch is a problem, no doubt about it. I watched Ramsgate { league below us } last week after our postponement, and on that artificial turf despite the pouring rain, the quality of football on show was way above today`s.
Our second goal, from Sanago, was well worked. I thought we might push on from there. Not to be. Kinkstonian who are bottom of our league, pushed us all the way and might well have had a draw on another day..
So, we now have to focus on making sure of our place in this league next season, try and get the pitch improved and start playing SOME ball out from the back. New players might help too !!

Stumps it is obvious that the wingback system is not working. Been saying it for weeks now. Mostly because we don't have a wingback that I can discern. Why persevere with it?

I’m a little confused by your comments Gerry stating that we failed to push on after Sanogo scored. Did we not then push on and score the winner through Smith? We also had about 3 or 4 one on ones and should have finished the game off, but I certainly felt we pushed on once coming back to level and only one team was then going to win the game. I actually thought, notwithstanding the pitch and the quality of football, that it was an enjoyable, end to end game with plenty of excitement. It was just great to have a home win, it’s been far too long!

All about opinions Ben.
I thought it was a poor game of football.

All about opinions Ben. I thought it was a poor game of football. Totally agree on that and certainly always enjoy reading yours after our games! I just genuinely wasn’t sure what you meant about not pushing on after the equaliser. Yes, the quality was poor but I felt it was more entertaining than most of our home games this season though!

I Could have phrased that better Ben.
We constructed that second goal well and I thought we might continue in that vein and raise our level overall.
Sadly I don't think we did. To get the crowds up we need to play football that people enjoy watching .
We do play better stuff when we're away, so maybe it is the pitch ?

Quite possibly the actual worst game of football I have ever paid to watch. In short (or long, or diagonal, or….. you get the gist) we can’t string 2 passes together, agreed the pitch didn’t help but….. 3 is good, keeper good, Callum ok, 9, 11, 15 & 10 alright. Our lack of pace and astute covering full backs is a constant worry, 8 is industrious but doesn’t do much with the ball, 7 had a shocker but seen him play better, 6 who went off is too slow and easily turned, there’s not much quality and even less confidence throughout the team. Sombre and subdued probably sums up the atmosphere….. we look a long way from a cohesive team and a side that doesn’t look like they could concede every time the opposition breaks forward. Can only hope for better next Saturday, we will need to be.

Additionally, regarding the pitch, we could do with narrowing and shortening it even further, we get out played at home every game because the opposition (even yesterday, marginally) are better and quicker on the ball and we win very few 2nd balls because we are often on the back foot and not moving forward onto the loose balls that drop in the middle, we could do with giving the opposition minimal space in which to play.

Was surprised by the attendance, it looked more , will be interested to see the disallowed goal in the first half , if it’s on the highlights , it looked ok from where we were standing behind the goal

For me, all the time there is “live commentary” available for home games attendances will drop.
For example 100 or so undecided, football of late as has been very very poor, I tell you what I do, I stay at home with Sky Sports News on and listen to the commentary.
Own goal for me by the Club allowing “Home Commentary” and yesterday was nice weather, wait until a colder day 100 or so undecided will turn into 300.

It's been difficult to replace the players who left after last season with players of similar quality.
That team had been together for years and had built team spirit which takes time to replace.
Hopefully we will start rebuilding properly next season.
