Can the club find out who this lady is and maybe do something after this horrible encounter. Show them how a proper and friendly club behave

What a performance from the lads. We were defensively so superb that Tim actually did not have many saves to make. (But he was excellent in the air today when needed !)
Mev and Matt Newman were superb at the heart of the defense. Mev cajoling and dragging performances from those all around him, Matt majestic and constructive. Finn dominating that right flank and another excellent performance from Jordan Right at left-back.He (Mev also drew a world-class save from their keeper, from his header early on.)
If the defense were good, the midfield was superb today. Heardy and Kieron tackled like tigers... and then broke forward with intent. Johan put a real shift in too in a more withdrawn almost midfield role to accommodate the inclusion of Dos Santos. I would have started with the team that played on Tuesday night, where Johan and Draycott linked well up the center. We eventually finished the game with this formation.
The one change to Tuesday was not a success. Jerson missed two glaring one on one chances and never won a header. I think that Cugs needs to accept that at the moment he does not warrant a place. Johan was too far withdrawn to use his finishing prowess. In my opinion. Ira was heavily marked throughout but still managed to come up with the winner ( courtesy of a deflection) to keep his fantastic goal run going.
But, back to the positives. In appalling weather, on a plastic pitch, our lads bonded together as a team and never let this skillful Worthing side settle for long on the ball. Great team spirit on display all over the park. Great experience for young Tyler too, he put in a shift until having to go off after a knock towards the end. Nat Blanks coming on at left-back and Jordan moved up to take Tyler`s position. ( by this time he had to spend his time defending!) They were all heroes today.
I cannot remember a more satisfying away win, deserved too. We can go and win the thing now !!

We win!!! 0-1 Brilliant result!! Sour grapes form Worthing commentary "you won your cup final there" - ha ha odd given it was their social media giving it the big one all week while I made sure we were rather understated given how I expected the result to end up.

Another team like last week that was playing our record and not the XI we could put out. The change of ends helped us, sit tight and then go for it second half, but they seemed happy with a point to me and to keep us at arm’s length.
Throwing objects at players and setting off a flare after the game, they’d be suited to following Liverpool, not a non league side. Effing and jeffing at us as we switched ends at kick off. Tweeting us that we weren’t making any noise (nonsense) and that we had gone quiet on social media (Noyz Boyz account, funnily enough we were supporting the team not busy tweeting other teams fans). As much as there’s a lot to admire about their support they seem to have some proper tits among them.
Also just read there was a group singing some racist stuff about gypsies, which their mob have condemned to their credit.

“I’m not bitter” one of their radio commentators claimed 4 times after the final whistle. Protesting a bit too much?

Interesting that Edgey says they chose to have the conditions first half Yes. I was told it was our decision! Either way it did work in our favour. The danger was that we pick up a bunch of yellow cards first half and go into our shells. But we really seem to get motoring second half these days. Apparently the object thrown was a 10 pence piece. Since the tunnel was out after the game I went around the long way past the thronging mass of Worthing ultras (mostly teenagers). They were having a fierce argument amongst themselves, presumably about throwing objects and definitely about setting the flare off. Amongst other issues the fumes were choking. It's not my job to give advice to Worthing, but I think they need to get the younger teenage supporters on a tighter leash. I felt sorry for the bloke clearing up, for there was a mountain of plastic glasses, deflated balloons and blow-up palm trees and of course a flare.

First time they’ve failed to score at home since Hornchurch beat them 6-0 back in August.
Coincidently it’s nearly a year since we failed to score at home: a late 1-0 defeat to Worthing.

Gerry summed it up about right , must agree that Jergen is going through a bad time at the moment, why not send him out on loan ,its happened to several of our players so why not him ? it was great to see Drakes come on yesterday ,also Johan who in my opinion should be a permanent starter . Great win for the boys , they had a real battle on with Worthing and easily came out on top IMO .A bit of a lairy crowd ,but i will say that a number of them did wish us a safe journey home . Good vocals from the noise boys & girls must be worth a goal

Yes Harry,Gerry normally gets it about right.Jerson doesn’t seem the player he was at the start of the season.Case of lost confidence, trying too hard (apparently that can happen),but no excuses for keep getting caught offside, not passing to better placed team mates which happens far to often..oh and win a few headers ,in essence get back to playing it simple . Good to see Jordan WWW back ,played well in the two games, slotted in as if never been away,be good if we could keep him ,a versatile player as he showed yesterday. And Draycs handy to have around.....

Mind you, he should have saved our goal Never mind eh? There is perhaps just a hint of a deflection from their no.18 before the ball gets to Carl Rushworth. So give him the benefit of the doubt? I suppose you had to see him perform in goal Finbarr, he is bloody good!!!!

It seems to me, that the performances over the last two games pose some real selection problems ( in a nice way!) for Cugs and Co. I have never seen Mev be so invaluable to the team, what with his talking and cajoling of the younger players and his own performances. As Edgie says `it's taken him thousands of games to find his best position ` Finn too has put in two fine performances at right-back, particularly so yesterday. Kieron has been superb in midfield. He and Heardie looked like Giles and Bremner in their heyday, ( they probably won't know who they are ! ) Both likes dogs snapping at your heels to win the ball. What a partnership. Johan too just pushed on from them a bit had a good game. Although his finishing talent is wasted there, in my opinion. On Tuesday night Draycs did that job and let Johan do what he does best. Finish. Obviously you can`t go pumping high balls up to him. On Tuesday we used the flanks with Ira and Tyler as our focus of attack. Why not again? But hey... what a memorable performance from the lads yesterday..... let's just bask in the glow of that victory for now

Wasn't there yesterday but as for feeling regards a league win in recent years this must be for me on a par with beating Billericay at home a couple of seasons ago at the then Fullicks in a mid week game.

Well, now the dust has settled, I have to say to you lot, very well played yesterday in apalling conditions. It was a game between two of the best sides in this Division (Carshalton & Horncurch) are not far off. Now it gets very interesting, we have gone over the last two weeks from being potentially 11 or 8 pts ahead but now only 2 pts in front. I feel that our very young side is feeling the pressure but that is not an excuse. Come the Season's end, I would far rather see Folkestone win this league than any other side than obviously Worthing. It now comes down to results that neither we nor you are in control of. Good luck for the rest of the season, and again, well done yesterday.

Thanks a lot! Good luck to you too!
Always enjoy the day at Worthing, guaranteed to be a tough game every single time. Nice atmosphere with the big crowd and always feel welcome.
